About This Role
Northern Light International School (NLIS) invites applications for a Subject Facilitator – Dagbani.
The Dagbani Facilitator will promote literacy and cultural appreciation through effective teaching of the Dagbani language.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated Dagbani lessons.
- Teach reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Promote Dagbani culture and traditions.
- Assess learner progress regularly.
- Develop learners' appreciation of indigenous languages.
- Participate in school programmes and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Ghanaian Languages or related field.
- Proficiency in Dagbani.
Qualifications
General Requirements (Applicable to All Subject Areas)
- A recognised Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject area with a teaching qualification.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to learner-centred and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of learners.
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for nurturing learners.
- Previous teaching experience is an added advantage.
